The Journey of Indies (JOIN) Program and Venture Builder Program powered by Xsolla, are designed to address the unique challenges faced by indie and mid-tier developers in Brazil, offering structured support through educational programs, mentorship and talent selection, training, collaboration and publishing and distribution support.
Program Details - JOIN
JOIN 2025 will be divided into two stages: Crossing the Threshold and Meet the Hero.
The first stage - Crossing the Threshold (April to June, 2025) - consists in a business and export qualification program, conducted on online platforms, aimed at preparing small and medium Brazilian entrepreneurs in the digital games sector for the growth and internationalization of their businesses. The program includes mentoring and workshops with investors, business leaders, researchers, and experts in entrepreneurship, exportation, and negotiation.
The second stage - Meet the Hero (June 24 to 26, 2025) - is an event held in a hybrid format, aimed at attracting national and international investments and business opportunities for the Brazilian digital games industry. The event includes a business round, pitch presentations, and an exhibition of Brazilian indie games.

Program Details - Venture Builder
fThe Venture Builder 2025 program is divided into two main stages: Program Tracks and Finalization & Support.
The first stage – Program Tracks (July to October, 2025) - aimed at strengthening independent Brazilian game studios, this stage delivers three specialized tracks: business planning, cultural project development, and investment readiness. Each track includes expert-led sessions by Xsolla professionals covering business modeling, market research, funding strategies, outsourcing, branding, and pitching to investors. The stage also includes two playtest sessions to validate and showcase progress.
The second stage – Finalization & Support (October to November, 2025) concludes with the Games Dev Connection, a final event featuring project presentations to the public, investors, and potential partners. Participants also receive legal and marketing support, along with satisfaction surveys and a final program report.
