Dune is not structured like a traditional venture fund. It is a permanent capital vehicle investing off of a large balance sheet. This enables long-term partnerships with founders and consistent access to capital.
It has no stage restrictions and prefer to partner with founders early — typically at the Seed or Series A. Doubling down, and showing support for founders over time, is our model. We provide multi-stage investment support for our portfolio companies, and we love nothing more than scaling up our check sizes and ownership when it makes sense.
